Chunilall’s key competencies include cellulose chemistry, as well as understanding the impact that cellulose ultra-structure has on the accessibility and reactivity of dissolving pulps. He is part of a team of CSIR researchers focusing on pulping, papermaking and biorefinery technologies.
Lemmer’s research interests lie in the development of an actively targeted nano-based therapeutic for poverty-related diseases and the development of a point-of-care tuberculosis diagnostic tool.
Dr Ntshidi is a water resources professional natural scientist. Her research interests are in plant water use monitoring and modelling, agricultural water management and groundwater monitoring.
Ebrahim’s passion for problem solving, coupled with his interest in pattern recognition, has led him into the innovative field of computer sciences and programming. His journey has also provided an avenue for him to take a keen interest in business development and social welfare. Ebrahim’s current interest lies in distributed ledger technology and how it presents solutions that were not possible before.
