Proteomics workflows, mass spectrometry analysis and data interpretation workshop
The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), in collaboration with DIPLOMICS, will be hosting a four-day workshop at the CSIR Scientia, located on the Pretoria campus in the Proteomics laboratory. This workshop aims to provide attendees with an interactive learning experience, enabling participants to consult with facilitators about their projects and maximise the value of their data.

This workshop will cover theoretical training and recap of proteomics basics such as sample handling to avoid contaminants and reagents that are incompatible with downstream MS analysis, exposure to different workflows tailored for different sample types and research questions, mass spectrometry data analysis and data interpretation and create an interactive environment that encourages collaboration.
The course will run for four days, comprising one day of online sessions followed by three days of in-person training at the CSIR campus in Pretoria, South Africa.
