Rohwer has contributed to a wide range of projects in the fields of chemical processes, pollution measurement, waste management, production assessment and energy-related materials in his more than 20 years at the CSIR.
Rohwer’s areas of expertise are chemistry, synthesis and analysis of materials such as platinum group metal-based nanocatalysts for fuel cells and manganese-based cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries, and laboratory process optimisation.
