Napier’s research interests include urban land markets, incremental housing, informal settlements and settlement upgrading, home-based enterprises, housing and people with disabilities, health and housing, knowledge management, land tenure and social inclusion.
Lück-Vogel’s key competencies are in the development of remote sensing tools and applications for integrated coastal management and climate change adaptation, and the assessment of vegetation characteristics and dynamics using ecological and remote sensing techniques.
Thwala’s areas of interest are in the fate and effects of environmental pollutants in water resources.
Dr Audouin’s research interests lie in the spheres of sustainability science, environmental management and the green economy. She particularly enjoys integrating the knowledge and views from a variety of stakeholders as well as academic disciplines to develop sustainability frameworks and strategies that inform government and private sector decision-making.
