Dr Lehlogonolo Ledwaba
Dr Lehlogonolo Ledwaba's research primarily focuses on security for cyber-physical systems, wireless sensor networks and industrial internet of things (IIoT) deployments, as well as the use of distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) for secure, smart microgrid market trading. As a senior researcher in the Advanced Internet of Things Research Group, Dr Ledwaba's journey with the CSIR began in 2013 through the development programme, starting with an undergraduate bursary.

Dr Lehlogonolo Ledwaba's research primarily focuses on security for cyber-physical systems, wireless sensor networks and industrial internet of things (IIoT) deployments, as well as the use of distributed ledger technologies (DLTs) for secure, smart microgrid market trading. As a senior researcher in the Advanced Internet of Things Research Group, Dr Ledwaba's journey with the CSIR began in 2013 through the development programme, starting with an undergraduate bursary.
Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to her field, including the publication of two peer-reviewed book chapters, four peer-reviewed journal papers and four peer-reviewed conference papers, where she served as first or second author. Dr Ledwaba has also presented numerous talks on secure IIoT and DLTs for energy market trading at local and international levels.
An active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE), Dr Ledwaba has served in various capacities, including as a member of the IEEE Hong Kong Section Student Activities, Membership Development and Leadership Training and Memberships sub-committees. Additionally, she held the position of chairperson for the IEEE Student Branch at the City University of Hong Kong.
