Denver Naicker's primary research focus within distributed ledger technology (DLT) is on self-sovereign identity, which enables individuals to securely share private information using verifiable credentials and zero-knowledge proofs.
Naicker obtained his Honours degree in business information science with a specialisation in multimedia from the University of Pretoria in 2012. He is currently a senior software engineer at the CSIR DLT Research Group. With 12 years of experience across various industries, including finance, telecommunications, supply chain, tax and insurance, Naicker has extensive expertise in working with enterprise resource planning solutions and developing end-to-end systems from the ground up. His work involves integrating across different platforms using a diverse range of programming languages and protocols.
