The CSIR aims to improve lives through data-driven research, development and decision-making. The data security and analytics research group aims to protect information by preventing, detecting, and responding to cyber-attacks. The team is working on various cybersecurity projects, which include the data security and analytics demonstration. The lab will house all of the centre’s capabilities (technology demonstrators and proofs of concept) such as an ear-recognition system, fingerprint-processing library, Optical Coherence Tomography fingerprint acquisition technology, Cyber protection technologies, Biometric security access technologies, Cyber Threat Intelligence platform and many others. The facility will be used for business development, commercialisation, technology demonstrations, client engagements, and with external partners for co-development, concept development and experimentation.
