CSIR temporary employee and studentship on-boarding
Temporary employees and studentships are required to complete the on-boarding forms listed below and submit these forms to the CSIR Human Resources department prior to commencement of the employment contract:
- PoPIA Section 18 Notification
 - Consent to receive CSIR information via SMS
 - Personal details
 - Department of Labour declaration
 - Medical questionnaire
 - Pledge of secrecy, ICT policy and ICT acceptable use standard
 - Declaration of conflict of interest
 - Application for a CSIR identification card
 - Application to perform private/professional extra work
 - Application to serve as Director of a company etc.

 - Gap Cover – Application Form 2024
 - Gap Cover – Brochure 2024
 - CSIR Funeral Scheme nomination form (refer to your employment contract if the funeral scheme is applicable).
 
Temporary employees and studentships are also required to familiarise themselves with the following:
- CSIR Ethics Statement and Code of Conduct
 - CSIR Conditions of Service
 - CSIR ICT Policy
 - ICT Acceptable Use Standard
