CSIR Expressions of Interest (EoI)

1. CSIR/DSTI Industrial Biocatalysis Hub Call for Expression of Interest: Product and process development support to enterprises

The Industrial Biocatalysis Hub (IBH) is a Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and the Department of Science, Technology and Innovation (DSTI) initiative to provide technical product and process development support to enterprises in the biomanufacturing sector using Biocatalysis technologies, with the aim of creating and expanding biocatalysis capacity and uptake in the industry. 

Closing date for submissions is 7 May 2025
 

2. Invitation for Expression of Interest: Small, medium and micro-enterprises (SMMEs) to establish mutually beneficial partnerships for the productisation and commercialisation of the ILIMA platform

The CSIR has developed ILIMA, an advanced farm-to-fork Software as a service (SaaS) platform that enhances agricultural supply chains through blockchain-powered trust and artificial intelligence-driven analytics. It provides real-time transparency, traceability and efficiency for both farmers and enterprises, improving market access, reducing costs, ensuring compliance and driving sustainability.
